Casandra T. DeStefano is a graduate of Widener University School of Law, Wilmington, Delaware earning her Juris Doctorate Degree in May of 2019. Casandra attended East Stroudsburg University and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science, Cum Laude in May 2016. Casandra clerked for the Honorable Peter J. Tober, Presiding Criminal Judge of Somerset County during the 2019-2020 year. In her position, Casandra wrote legal decisions, performed in depth research, and was trained and facilitated in resolving Small Claims disputes. 

During her law school career Casandra focused on the field of family law. During her last year of law school, she worked in a family law clinic which primarily focused on working with victims of Domestic Violence. Here, she represented clients which began with interviewing victims for their representation at trial resulting in restraining orders to ensure their safety. She has also worked at a private Family Law firm focusing primarily on divorce settlements. 

Casandra has participated in Wills for Heroes which were she assisted in preparing Wills for “first responders”, and she has participated in Alternative Dispute Resolution, which trains law students to effectively learn the skills of mediation. Additionally, she has taken classes on skills for interviewing clients for Domestic Violence, and Divorce matters, which she exemplifies through her empathy and understanding for these clients. 

In addition to her involvement in Family Law, she is a member of the New Jersey State Bar and the Somerset County Bar and Sussex County and Morris County Bar.

Casandra is a welcome addition to the law firm of Faith A. Ullmann & Associates, LLC, where she will practice in all aspects of Family Law and Family Law related matters.
